Rose-colored leaves
sway in the breeze,
Many, many palms,
all eyes they please.
The ocean so blue,
who ever knew
the sand beneath your feet
could feel so true?
Yet not all things last,
the world began to crash
as the sand flew up and
the trees turned to ash.
The hurricane had hit,
the world had flipped,
and all that was once pretty
was now just some grit.
