Hazel Foster, Staff Writer & Senior Copy Editor

Hi! My name is Hazel Foster, and I’m a Sophomore here at Gateway. I’ve been at Gateway since 7th grade – but I’ve only been in the CHOMP since Freshman year. This is my first year as an Editor. I’ve been published before for my article on Youth Mental Health, and I’m passionate about bringing awareness to many topics. I also participate in Book Club, Student Council and I’m the Treasurer for the sophomore class. I try to volunteer and help people whenever I can. When I’m not studying or helping around the school, you can usually find me with my cat, talking to my boyfriend, drawing or watching Dance Moms. I’m also a dancer but I’m out due to an ongoing knee injury – hopefully next year I can do cheer and get back into my passion of dancing!
