What are Gators being for Halloween?

Halloween is a time for spooky festivities, fall drinks – and most importantly, dressing up. Many teenagers don’t dress up, but a lot of them still do. This year, we sent a survey out to see what Gators are being for Halloween! Here are the responses we got.

Sophomore, Ariana Bradley, is being the Powerpuff Girls with her two younger sisters. The youngest is dressing as Buttercup, Ariana is dressing as Bubbles, and the middle between the two is dressing up as Blossom.

Likewise, two Sophomores are going as Rapunzel. Tenth grader Lily Hoppe is going as Rapunzel – and so am I! However, I’m doing a duo costume with my boyfriend, dressing up as Rapunzel and Eugene (Flynn Rider). Lily added that her friends might be going as other princesses as well!

Class of 2024 student Sahaarah Mitchell said that she’s being a vampire for Halloween – a classic costume, but a good one! 11th Grader, Abria Joshua, is dressing up as Snoopy as Joe Cool – a very unique yet simple costume! Sage Knowles, a Junior here at Gateway, is dressing up as the Cheshire Cat from Alice and Wonderland.

This Halloween is set to be a good one. The weather will be chilly, and every year the costumes get more and more creative. As more shows come out, artists become popular, trends arise – new costumes are born, more are added to the already large spectrum of ideas. From single costumes to group costumes, there are many to choose from!

Remember, you’re never too old to dress up and enjoy that wonderful holiday that Halloween is! Get together with friends, find some candy, and have some spooky fun!
