Welcome back Gators! After a long (yet too short) summer break, we’re back! Back to school is full of new teachers, new classes, and old friends. But it’s also filled with upcoming events that may slip your mind! Here’s a quick refresher on upcoming events and what they are:
September 17th (6:30) – Back to School Night: Have your guardians or family come in to meet your teachers and talk to them about the courses you’re taking, come with your family if you think they will get lost!
September 22nd and 23rd – Staff and Student Pictures: Yearbook pictures will be taken during your PE period. Seniors will not be getting their picture taken, but they can sign up for senior portraits through the instructions posted on Google Classroom.
September 29th and 30th – Club Fair: Find out what clubs Gateway offers, and figure out what may be right for you!
October 10th (5-7:30) – Gator Day: On your day off, come to Gateway for a day of fun! With music, games, food trucks, raffles, a dunk tank, and more! There’s something for everyone!
October 10th (7-9:30 pm) – Spirit Week Decorating: Come into the school building to help your class (2029, 2028, 2027, 2026) decorate their hall for spirit week! Food will be provided.
October 18th: Homecoming!
These are just some main events; they do not include any home/away football games or other sports games that are happening. Please come to any games and show your Gator spirit! Remember, you are only a Gator once, so come to and participate in these events!
