I scream and wail! O Shadow, rise and reign!
Let thy falsehoods flee, and truth be shown,
Hope for the world, ’mongst us to grow!
The Moone doth ask it, yet He craves more;
A Dream of Him, in Her image, thus born.
—
A battle lost, yet naught it doth matter,
So ineffective, both to Me and Thee—
No jester’s jest shall hurt nor confront,
The Flower doth seek it, yet asketh the Moone,
Her Dream of Him and Her, entwined in thee!
—
The world the Moone calleth His own,
For He knew and He needed;
His eyes alight as He spake, and spake,
The Sun a deadly ray of light;
And the Moone, how fortunate, He is!
—
This world belongeth unto the Flower,
For She is the star of the show;
Her six petals, blooming pure and fair,
In Her presence, we are all mesmerized,
How blessed the Moone, He is!

So the reason as to why the flower (Dandy) was referred to as a She is because I thought Dandy was a girl before I even played the game. Now, I have all the toons (including Bassie–the Easter toon) except for Bobette. In celebration, I will join your Dandy runs.
