Meet Mr. Al-Habshi

Mr. Al-Habshi has only recently started teaching at Gateway Regional High School but has already made a huge difference to the community!

Mr. Al-Habshi was a student at National Park, spending four years there. He was also a Gateway student, having been taught by some of the other teachers we know and love at Gateway. He knew his co-workers as teachers before he even started working at Gateway! 

His room is 202, and he teaches social studies. Students have said he teaches in a way that makes it clear and easy for them to follow along. He is also very compassionate, and just by the way he acts when teaching, you can tell it’s his passion. His classroom is always a safe space for any member of the Gateway community.

When asked why he teaches, he stated, “I chose teaching as a profession because I want to make an impact on the lives and future of my students.”

When asked what he likes to do in his leisure time, he responded, “I like to go to the gym, play basketball, read, and watch sports!”

Even though he has only been teaching for two years, he has already impacted his students’ lives for the better, and may he continue impacting their lives for decades to come.
