After many years of Mr. Abed coaching the Girls Tennis team, there’s a new coach on the courts! Her name is Mrs. McAnally. She loves to play tennis, teaches middle school French, and helps out with the Boys Tennis team as well!

There are lots of positive things to say about Mrs. McAnally.

3rd singles Sarah Martin shared:

.

Mrs. McAnally had great advice for Sarah, telling her “While playing, fight or flight are your only options and that you should always choose to fight.

1st singles Morgan McNally added:

.

Junior player, Valentina Malo, had a very sweet thing to say about Mrs. McAnally and how she affected the team, sharing:

I really enjoyed this season, I think she helped out with a lot of the team’s bonding, especially with the summer activities and just overall activities over the course of the season. Things like buying us ice cream at the end of matches. I felt as though the team is closer than it has been in past years.

It’s been a great season overall. The Girls Tennis team made it to the playoffs and advanced all the way to the semifinals!

The girls fought incredibly hard, playing some difficult teams. Yet, Mrs. McAnally was always by their side supporting and giving them great advice all the way until the end. Although it was different without Mr. Abed, Mrs. McAnally, along with Mr. Dickson’s help, turned this season into a great success.
