My friends and I at the beach!

Summer 2023 will for sure be one to remember! Since I had a lot more free time in the summer, I was able to see my friends more and take some time for myself. My friends are some of the funniest people ever, and when all of us are together you only hear laughter. I also went to the beach as often as possible. I love sitting under the sun and listening to the waves crashing against the sand. It’s when I can think the best.

I will definitely miss having more time on my hands, but I’m making it my goal to find time for myself and my friends throughout the busy school year!

I’m Kalise Miller! I moved up from Managing Editor for The Chomp to Co-Editor-in Chief. I'm the Class of 2025 President and an officer of multiple clubs at Gateway. I participate in fall cheer and competitive dance as well. In my free time, I enjoy reading, listening to music, and spending time with my friends! Typically, I will be writing about school sports featuring quotes and insights right from the athletes. I also write about Gateway-specific events, like Prom and Mr. Gateway!
