Sprunki Retake is a mod that enhances and reimagines the original Sprunki experience. This mod introduces updated visuals, refined gameplay mechanics, and additional content to make the game more engaging. Players can expect new challenges, reworked levels, and a fresh take on the classic Sprunki adventure.

Whether you’re a longtime fan or a newcomer, Sprunki Retake offers an exciting way to experience the game from a fresh perspective.

New Characters in Sprunki Retake

This mod introduces 10 brand-new characters, alongside the 20 original Sprunki. Each new character comes with unique abilities, play styles, and designs that add variety and depth to the gameplay. Here’s a closer look at 5 of the 10 new Sprunki.

Bailey

Bailey is an easy-going, cheerful, and naive 22-year-old water tower. He’s absolutely obsessed with sea life and could spend hours gushing about dolphins, jellyfish, and colorful coral reefs. Swimming, water games, and anything ocean-related makes him light up with joy. If you start talking about the ocean, be prepared—he’ll eagerly ramble about his favorite sea creatures, from the tiniest clownfish to the mighty blue whale.

One of Bailey’s most prized possessions is his rubber duck float, which he never goes anywhere without. It’s more than just a fun pool toy—it makes him feel safe, prepared, and ready for any water adventure. Whether he’s lazily drifting in a pool or bravely floating in the open sea, his rubber duck is always by his side.

However, Bailey has a bit of a funny quirk, he sometimes eats sand. No one really knows why. Maybe he thinks it’s a crunchy snack? Maybe he just likes the texture? Either way, his friends find it both amusing and slightly concerning.

A Dark Encounter

While Bailey is mostly fun-loving and carefree, in horror mode, he makes the chilling sound of steel drums and an eerie drowning gurgling. This haunting sound effect is tied to a tragic in-game event—Bailey was drowned by Black, a mysterious and ominous force. Though he remains cheerful in everyday life, there’s an unsettling mystery surrounding what truly happened to him in that eerie game world.

Mroona & Wyum: The Inseparable Duo

Picture of Mroona and Wyum take on sprunki-retake.

Mroona and Wyum are an inseparable duo—two beings who count as one, moving and thinking in perfect harmony. Their bond is so strong that they often finish each other’s thoughts without speaking, their minds seemingly linked by an invisible thread.

Mroona, originally from Malawi, is the more eccentric of the two. She has a habit of making bizarre, almost musical sounds, often humming strange melodies that no one else understands. She also has an unusual love for eating chalk and drywall, much to everyone’s bewilderment. No one knows why she enjoys it, but she insists it has a “crunchy, satisfying texture.” If questioned, she simply grins and shrugs, as if the answer should be obvious.

Wyum, on the other hand, hails from Kenya and serves as the more level-headed counterpart. While Mroona is loud and unpredictable, Wyum is quiet, observant, and thoughtful. He often relys on his actions to communicate rather than his words, stepping in to prevent Mroona from getting into trouble even though that does not always work.

Despite their differences, they move as a single unit, perfectly in sync, as if bound by something beyond the physical world. Their unique bond makes them fascinating to others. While they might seem odd at first, those who get to know them realize they share an unbreakable connection—one that makes them truly one of a kind.

Horror Mode: A Terrifying Transformation

In Horror Mode, Mroona becomes something truly unsettling. Wyum is no longer by her side—not because he disappeared, but because something far more disturbing has happened.

The entity known as Black has cut open Mroona’s chest, placed Wyum inside, and stitched it back up. Now, she moves with a grotesque, jerking motion, her usual melodies warped into eerie, dissonant wails. Her eyes, once full of mischief, now hold an unnatural glow, as if something inside her is watching, something struggling to break free.

She still speaks, but her voice is layered, as though Wyum is trapped within her, whispering from deep inside. Sometimes, in fleeting moments of clarity, she clutches at her chest, gasping out his name. But the stitches hold tight. The bond they once shared has been twisted into something horrifying—something irreversible.

And if you listen closely, beneath Mroona’s distorted voice, you can hear Wyum’s muffled screams.

Parker

Parker is a unique paper Sprunki. He has one normal eye, while the other eye looks in the opposite direction. He is also the only Sprunki to have a tongue. Wearing his paper arrow headband on one side, he surely has very distinctive features. Parker is also known for making a record-scratching sound. One lesser-known fact about Parker is that he enjoys eating rubber bands for fun.

In his personal life, Parker has a girlfriend named Aurelia. When it comes to his role in horror mode, Parker is classified as an effect type. However, his appearance changes dramatically: he loses his headband, and his paper body becomes darker with most of his head ripped off, revealing a bloodstain.

Aurelia

Aurelia is a periwinkle-colored Sprunki with a jellyfish-like appearance. She has a large, flowing jellyfish hood that drapes over half of her eyes, along with eight matching tendrils. Three distinct markings adorn the top of her hood, glowing the same luminescent hue as her frills—similar to Parker, her boyfriend. Aurelia has a deep interest in pottery and enjoys crafting objects from wet sand whenever she’s bored at the beach. She also collects seashells and various trinkets she finds along the shore.

In her normal mode, she emits a gentle bell-like sound and belongs to the A effect type. However, in horror mode, her personality and abilities shift dramatically, and her hood caves in on her.

Boyfriend Fnf

Boyfriend is a small, blue Sprunki-like character with spiky hair and his signature red cap worn backward. He’s full of energy, rhythm, and pure musical talent! Instead of speaking with words, he communicates entirely through beatboxing, using sharp, catchy sounds to express himself.

As he beatboxes, Boyfriend moves energetically, bouncing, grooving, and bobbing his head to the rhythm. He never stays still for too long, always vibing with the beat, whether he’s practicing his skills or facing off in an intense musical battle. His Sprunki nature makes him full of life, and his beats carry so much personality that even without words, people can always tell what he’s thinking!

Boyfriend is determined, competitive, and playful. He never backs down from a challenge and always gives his best performance, no matter who he’s up against. But outside of battles, he’s a fun-loving and loyal friend who just wants to share his love of music.

Horror Mode: The Beat is Broken

In horror mode, Boyfriend once lively beatboxing falls into eerie silence. He still moves, but he does not bounce with the same energy. His beatboxing, once sharp and vibrant, is now just glitchy, distorted echoes, like a song stuck on a broken record. At times, there is no sound at all, making his presence unsettling. The absence of his signature rhythm feels unnatural like a piece of him has been taken away.

Most disturbingly, he has lost one of his eyes. Where it used to be, there is only an empty, dark space, as if something—or someone—took it from him. Some people believe that Girlfriend stole his eye. The rumor spreads among those who have seen his horror mode form, but no one knows the full truth. Did she take it? And if she did… why?

 Changes to the original Sprunki

The 20 original Sprunki were changed, one of the most important ones being Duple.

Duple fangs were changed, to have a sleeker design and sharper features, especially in the horror mode. Now,wen Durple opens its mouth, Wendias lines have changed. They are now: “Back it up, back it up, back it up, back it up, ba-ba, back it up, b-b-”

Mr. Fun Computers lines have also changed. Originally he said “hey” but it was changed to make it more dynamic and engaging. He now says “Hello, would you be happy today right now. Come one, come take a stroll with us! It’s such a fun time!”
