It’s that time of year! Every streaming platform or TV channel is celebrating old and new holiday movies. Holiday movie lovers start to post on social media about their opinions on the movies and shows they’ve watched.
What’s your all time favorite holiday movie? Why do you think it is your favorite? Or is there a holiday movie you would never want to see again?
We took an anonymous poll to find out the answers to these very questions. According to the poll the most enjoyed movie was Elf! It was unanimous that everyone thought it was really funny and festive.
Next up is A Christmas Story. This movie has been around since 1983. The viewers enjoy quoting scenes from this movie, and also remembering the funny moments with family members. Someone said,
“I grew up watching this movie and I watch it every year with my family. This movie makes me happy and brings the spirit of Christmas.”
Another person said,
“The Christmas Story brings me back to happy times and I loved watching my Dad’s reaction to all of the funny parts. My kids love it now too!”
Lastly, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation made the list, and one respondent said,
“…the holidays can be stressful for families at work and in school but in the end family comes together and everything works out.”
When we asked what holiday movie they wouldn’t watch again, Polar Express got the most votes.
