Ace Smith

Who is ready for 2024? It’s going ot be great!

Tiny sparks of glitter

turn to excitement,

preparing for the drop,

The channel’s on

to watch the ball

and no matter what, it won’t stop

Time waits for no one,

whether you like it or not,

but if the year is renewed,

like a fresh breath of air,

make the best of what you’ve got!

List those silly resolutions,

Let the sparkles glisten,

nobody has to care what you do,

and no one has to listen.

Revel in the new start,

take it by the reins,

Experience new joys,

and prepare for new pains.

Don’t waste this year away,

and worse, don’t let it pass you by,

For when the year ends,

what’ll you have to show

if all you did was cry?

Hi! My name is Ace Smith [he/him], and I’m a freshman writer. I participate in the marching band, indoor color guard, The Chomp, and the theater program. I am a student of the Journalism elective, and the Journalism class editor. In my free time, I practice art, writing, performing, and music. I’m also a member of the student council, and a handful of clubs. I love making things creative and artsy, as I specialize in poetry and story writing. I have four cats, whom I love dearly, and a passion for decorating with pins, stickers, and all things fun. My goal is to bring some sparkle to The Chomp, and practice my skills to improve. :)
