Builders Club is run by Mrs. Buehler and is open to 7th and 8th graders at Gateway. Builders Club helps with community service and enjoys teaching students how to give back to their community. Just earlier this year, Builders Club visited Ocean City, NJ to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for homeless people in Atlantic City, NJ. They will go on that trip again in the spring.
On December 6th, the Builders Club will be decorating Santa hats and gift bags for special needs individuals for the ARC Gloucester’s Christmas party. On December 18th, the club will be taking a trip to the Deptford Mall and wrapping presents for donations to the Ronald McDonald House.
The club will participate in more activities involving community service this year, whether it’s helping people around us or setting up the easter egg hunt for Pre-K and Kindergarteners. Builder’s Club sure is rewarding.
Builders Club is ever-growing and is always looking to welcome new, excited members! This year there was a huge increase in membership, with around 70 members currently.
